Moreover, plus size individuals deserve to have the same opportunities as others when it comes to expressing their creativity through costumes. It is unfair that they are limited in their choices simply because of their size. Plus size superhero costumes allow for more diversity and inclusivity in the costume industry.
Lastly, having plus size options for superhero costumes can also promote body positivity. Many plus size individuals may feel self-conscious about their bodies and may avoid dressing up as certain characters because they do not have the “ideal” body type. By offering plus size options, it sends a message that all bodies are worthy of being celebrated and that anyone can be a hero regardless of their size
